New Leadership Elected

The October meeting was attended by a dozen or so members, who were treated to a slide show of Frank Seiferts backcountry trek into the John Muir Wilderness. Now, there may be some who would doubt Frank’s ability as an intrepid woodsman, but all doubts were laid to rest after seeing the county that Frank, his wife, father in law and a good friend hiked, camped and fished thru.

Elections for new officers were also held at the October meeting. Here are the results. (All right, it really wasn’t an election, but here’s who’s stepping

forward to run the club)

President - Byron Stanton

Treasurer – Karl Weiland

V P- Communication Tony Kowalczyk

VP – Outings Dave  Angelo

VP Meetings – Frank Seifert

VP Conservation -  Todd Giliihan

A planning meeting was held on November 8th. It was decided that there will be no December meeting and we will look for a new place to meet. Plans were also laid for changing over the bank

account which currently has just over $1,000.

If anyone is aware of a meeting place that 1) is free, 2) would hold up to about three dozen and 3) allow the kinds of activities the club does at meetings, slide shows, demonstrations, etc. please e-mail admin@hangtownflyfishers.org

with the details.

Look for updates on the website:
